2. Vocabulary
Look closely at the picture, click on the sign in each words and read the word. After finishing all the words, read the words one more time

3. Structure
3.1 Structure
Is this … ?
Ex: Is this a kite?
Are these .. ?
Ex: Are these hats?
Yes/No
Is/ are/am + S + adj/N?
Yes, S is/am/are/ No, S isn’t/am not/ aren’t.
3.2 Usage
a. Used to ask, when not sure the answer is in the singular.
Ex: Is this a doll? (có phải đây là búp bê ?)
b.Used to ask, when not sure the answer is in the plural
Ex: Are these pants?( đây là những chiếc quần tây?).
c. In a Yes/No question, when we want to ask a question, the sentence structure will be as follows:

Is/ are/am + S + adj/N?
Yes, S is/am/are/ No, S isn't/am not/ aren't.
Ex:
- Is she a student? No, she isn’t.
- Are you a doctor? No, I am not.
- Is he a teacher? Yes, he is.
